An email from a student about The Scorch Trials by James Dashner
Dear Mrs. Stairs,
Wow. Those are the words I think of when I think about it. It was an awesome book with a massive, when I say it, I mean it. MASSIVE turn of events. I never honestly expected Thomas to ever tell Teresa to leave him alone! It's a great book. Well, great doesn't even summarize it. The whole series is great so far. I can't wait to crack open the final book of the series tomorrow! I might actually open it up and read it tonight after I get home from work. I very possibly could finish the last book by next weekend. Thank you so much for suggesting I ready The Kill Order. That was the book that got me hooked. Without The Kill Order, I wouldn't understand a lot of the things that led up to the first book. Jeremiah said he wanted to read The Kill Order after I said what it was about. Which book do you suggest I use for my Book Talk? My art teacher was wondering what genre it was. I told her it was a futuristic fiction. What genre do you think it is? Thanks again. Can't wait to talk about it. I will definitely suggest the series to some people I know.
